The Robot
Our robot, Wall-E, was designed by Judah, Wesley, and Matthew. Although they headed the design, every team member had a part in programming, updating the design, and building attachments. We came up with the name Wall-E because, last year, our robot was named Eva.
The missions that we know we can do are Windmill, Watch Television, Power to X, Mission Model, Solar Farm, Toy Factory, and Dinosaur Toy. We're working on programs for the Oil Platform, Hybrid Car, and Hydroelectric Dam missions. Rowen came up with how to do the Dinosaur Toy mission during a scrimmage, when he thought he could send the Dino across in the same program as the robot uses to go from one Home to the other. Once we had most missions done, we put a steering wheel so it looked like the Dino was driving the robot.
